Busy Mom Designs is owned and operated by myself (Tricia Roberts).  I have always enjoyed crafting and had learned to crochet when I was quite young.  I also spent many hours making all kinds of creations while my husband and I traveled across Canada together for our work shortly after being married.  However, after having my first son, I set my hooks aside and took up sewing instead.  I started a website and began selling cloth diapers and other baby items.  After having 3 boys in 3.5 years, I closed up shop.  Our family moved from one side of Canada to the other, and then down to Mexico to do humanitarian aid work with the charity my husband works for.  After 2 years in Mexico, we returned home to Canada.  I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter at the time.  Shortly after she was born I discovered all of the beautiful crocheted girl accessories on the market and got the craving to do some crocheting again.  I started making items for my daughter and ended up with all kinds of order requests.  I opened The Busy Mom Boutique and began selling items on Etsy and was soon coming up with my own designs.  After receiving several requests for patterns, I decided to try my hand at pattern writing.  On May 15th, 2010 I opened Busy Mom Designs on Etsy and listed my very first pattern – the Stork Pouch Hanging Pod – soon to be followed by the Spring Fling Beanie.  Orders started pouring in and I haven’t slowed down since!  Thousands of Busy Mom Designs patterns have been sold worldwide this past year!  I am thankful for such an amazing year and hope you all continue to enjoy these designs in years to come.

Giveaway Prize: 1 single winner will be chosen for this giveaway. The winner may then select any 3 crochet patterns from Busy Mom Designs.  Patterns will be emailed to the winner’s email address following notification of their selection.

Visit Busy Mom Designs on Etsy and comment below with the 3 patterns you would select as your prize if you were the winner (winner will be permitted to change these selections at the closing of the giveaway if he/she prefers to do so at that time).  PLEASE include your email address!

Only ONE comment per person will be permitted.  Multiple comments will be removed.

Winner will be selected by a random number generator on the evening of Saturday, May 21st, 2011 and posted here shortly thereafter.

Winner has 48 hours to respond after initial notification email is sent.  Failure to reply within 48 hours will result in prize forfeit and another winner will be chosen.
